Bersay Communication Consultancy Honorary President

He was born in Ankara in 1946. He graduated from İstanbul Erkek Lisesi in 1965 and studied in University of Bern between 1965-1974. He worked as a reporter in Milliyet Newspaper (Hey Magazine) between the years of 1978-1981. He worked as a Chief Editor at Karacan Publications between 1982 and 1986. He worked as a General Manager in Sabah Newspaper Magazine group between 1986-1988. In 1988 he became the founding partner and General Manager of Güneş Publications and carried out his position until 1990. In 1990 he founded Bersay Communication Consultancy, which he still acts as Honorary President. He still serves as a strategic communications consultant to multiple clients of Bersay. He gave lectures to undergraduate and master degree classes in İstanbul University Faculty of Communication for 10 years. Currently he gives lectures on Account Management in Bahçeşehir University, Faculty of Communication. Saydam became a columnist for Sabah Newspaper in 2002. He wrote about every aspect of communication problems in his column until 2006. Between the years of 2006-2012 Saydam went on writing his column for Akşam Newspaper. He currently writes articles for Marketing Turkey Magazine, starting from January 1st 2005 and has a column on Yeni Şafak Newspaper since September 11th 2012. He also has a column on Yeni Şafak Group’s economy magazine “Derin Ekonomi” and Turkish Exporters Assembly TIM’s monthly magazine, “TİMREPORT”. He published 4 books; “Perception Management” in 2005, “How to Lose Wives and Clients” in 2010, “Giving Up is a Freedom” in 2011 and “Power is Loneliness” in 2012. In 2013 “Perception Management” was translated to English and German, and “How to Lose Wives and Clients” was translated into English.
